About Us
Twisted Time was started in 2006 when Julie had a vision of creating a unique
one-of-a-kind clock for her newly decorated breakfast room. Not willing to
settle for a boring generic clock from one of the major discount retailers, she
set out to design her own. Her first attempts were hilarious. Engineering the
clocks proved to be somewhat of a challenge. Finding the appropriate process
and materials was daunting. Through a series of steps, the design was taken to
the next level…and then the next. The process continues still. Fortunately, new
designs and ideas are always flowing, and the clocks are constantly evolving.
All of Julie’s clocks are handmade using new and recycled materials including
laserdiscs, records and other found objects. The hand cut numerals and
color-coordinated accents make these whimsical clocks jewelry for your home.
Julie’s love for color often makes it difficult to choose a single color
scheme, so she makes clocks in a wide variety of designs and colors. Quotes for
custom clocks are also available upon request.
